Angry Woebots Munky King print

This was in the mail when I got home today. Did not expect it to be this small, but upon opening, I thought the size was somewhat nice. Particularly when I realized that the sketch was in fact a transparent paper envelope and the print goes inside it. I thought the transparency was a clipped-on when I purchased it.

Cheers to Angry Woebots for the complementary sketches. And of course to John for the splendid packaging - again!

Angry Woebots Custom Mellow

Here is the fourth addition to my custom Mellows collection. An Angry Woebots angry panda to go with the rest. The gold brushes and black splatters make a good addition to the usual style. It's an ever evolving prominent style of his. I am glad to have a piece for this batch's style. If my imagination goes wild, I'd say the black & white makes it resembles a penguin for a moment.

I shall take a couple more shots and add them to this post later.

Angry Woebots custom munnys

Aaron aka Angry Woebots has just dropped just three pieces of custom munnys. As I understand, he will not be taking commission customs anymore / at least for a while. There is still a piece of giant munny left if you're quick with your finger.

My Mellow should be on its way. *excited

Angry Woebots print in the mail

Just received my Angry Woebots print that I recently mentioned here. Great packaging, it's quite different when you get a fellow collector doing the packaging. He/She would pack it the way it is expected from a buyer's view.

The print is real lovely, as I expected from the previous post. The size is just about right, any bigger, I personally do not think it will be as nice. However, I think the resolution is slightly off. That's only evident if you really squint your eyes and glare at it upclose.

Angry Woebots customs

Angry Woebot's next batch of customs is an impressive bunch. With the addition of the gold brush strokes and the angrier expression bring these custom pieces to a whole new level. Looking back at his older pieces, I must say that I really dig these ones better.

I hope that is my Mellow there. For more shots, check out his flickr.

Angry Woebots giclee print April '08

So earlier this week, I witnessed Angry Woebots' release of his giclee print (limited to 50) sold out in a mere three minutes. I wish he had given it a title, so I do not have to keep repeating 'Angry Woebots giclee print'.

I must say this piece is looking absolutely fresh. I particularly love the green background, it makes a beautiful contrast. Credits to contra808 aka John for managing the sale on Aaron's behalf and for the courteous messages. Sorry about the long address, mate. ;)

This is John's shot of the prints, which should be well on their way to those who managed to purchase one.

On a sidenote, John is a big fan of Angry Woebots, evidently in his shot above.

Angry Woebots - an intro

Martin aka Angry Woebots is making it big this past 12 months, and I meant by real BIG. His artwork revolves around this particular panda, a bold fresh idea and everyone's diggin' it.

This guy deserves all the credits he's getting. I reckon I spotted something in the video, something I am looking forward to.
