Dan May interview

The Lumper posted up an interview with my top artist, Dan May. I have not much idea why the interview was up at a blog when I was expecting to see one at a proper site. Anyway, good on The Lumper for compiling the interview.

Dan mentioned he has an upcoming print which will be made available through Copro Nason.

And the biggest news of them all is that he will be having his first solo show with Copro Nason coming February 2009. I am extremely excited for him.

Jeremiah Ketner interview

An interview with Jeremiah Ketner was posted up by the awesome Andy of toysrevil. Just excited to see so much news of him lately. He deserves every bit of it, after having produced some of the best custom pieces over the turn of the New Year.

Yes, the Piko(s) are absolutely amazing figures. Customized wood to resemble the characters in his paintings, it is the best representation of his works in 3D-form.

"Piko toys are based off characters that I often use in my paintings. I have always used the name Piko Piko as my user name for online forums and such. Its kinda my pen name. It is based of a Japanese word to describe a flashing light or "to shine" - "Pika Pika"."
