I keep a list of artists I come across here and there, take time off to look at their works and see how much I love them. First up is Lisa Evans of the United Kingdom, whom I came across in Flickr and through Folioart UK (where you can locate many talented UK artists).
What my eyes usually capture first when it comes to liking a particular artwork is the colours. Grainy, earthy, subtle and soft colours often capture my attention, take Alberto Cerriteño's works for example. He also did up a custom toy for me, mentioned here. Next, it would definitely be the composition, which obviously is very subjective, some artists tend to have real clever play of compositions.
