ConceptArt.Org’s 'Steampunk Penguin Professor' challenge

I came across this post in Brass Goggles about the past week's character design challenge for a Steampunk Professor Penguin and an assistant, making their way around in the Arctic.

Putting the guidelines for entires aside, there are heaps of praises-worthy entries. Most notably - pieces by Einen and LaLiLuLeLo received considerably higher votes. I think that was a fantastic challenge put up by ConceptArt.Org.
